Poolburn Dam progress

August 05, 2020

Poolburn Dam progress
Poolburn Dam progress. Putting down the early morning mid-tones on this new piece of art.
Poolburn Reservoir, also known as Poolburn Dam, is a reservoir in Central Otago, the water is used by farmers in the Ida Valley and gets pretty low by Autumn. It was quietly abandoned, apart from a passing farmer and very chilly at night.
The reservoir is also a popular spot for trout fishing and features in The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers.
