We had a bit of sun last week and this week, so the light in the studio was really good, essential when working on delicate colour combinations. Although the lighting in the studio is really good, I always do the final colour rendering under natural light. I've had a go at the sky, a real challenge with the evening light and subtle colour transitions. I ended up having to do it twice, as the first time it fully dried it looked a bit ‘flat’. I wanted it to be really soft, and had spent many evenings observing the colour in the evening sky, I am happy with it now. This one has now been put aside while I move back to Falls Dam.
