New Print - Home Hills Run Homestead

Home Hills Run Homestead is now available as a limited edition print of only 150. It is available in three sizes on a range of fine art papers.

I visited the shearer's quarters and cookhouse after four wheel driving with the kids around the Oteake Conservation Park and visiting the railway and tailing huts on the Mt Buster - Johnstones Creek Track. After being baked in the hot sun and blasted by the wind on the tops, this little building represented a homely little shelter from the elements nestled in the valley flats.
Kiwi screenwriter Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog was also filmed at this location a few years after this visit. The location was re-vamped for the production, and I haven’t visited since to see what has changed...

This print is available at the Gallery De Novo, in Dunedin and they also have a range of new stock available.
The Parnell Gallery have the full range of sizes in stock in Auckland. You can also pop into the Red Gallery in Nelson for a coffee over the long weekend as they have stock of this print available and also some new prints to browse.

Still layering this beautiful native fauna in the scene at Breaker Bay in Wellington. It took me quite a while to be satisfied with the balance of the sea tones and fauna. When the final layers of vibrant greens and yellows are added they are going to glow against the blue backdrop...
