Progress

Progress

These are the thick layers of colour that are applied before any shape or detail is added. By the end of this update there are already 6-10 thick layers in some areas. This makes the painting ‘glow’ further down the track and provides a great base to start working on the detail. I also start to shape the landscape with colour at this stage, its hard to see, but in the shadow are rich blues that give it added dimension. Also working with a range of warm tones, to shape the land.
