Still steadily working away on the St Arnaud Tarn painting. I've finished the tarn, put a lot of work into the background mountain (Raglan) range. The light beams have been a challenge while retaining some detail - more work to come.
You will see here I've also been doing a lot of tussock detail in various sizes as well as the snow grass and other fauna.

Exploring the Molesworth last week while filling the very empty freezer. We started with a typical Molesworth -5 degree night after a light snowfall, but it warmed up (for the Molesworth) as the days passed. The Molesworth is a stunning high alpine dryland which I think is equal to, and possibly more beautiful than Central Otago. About 10,000 cattle cruise around the flatlands...
