After travelling along an almost endless, dusty gravel road the landscape spits you out at a little fishing hamlet. Overlooking Falls Dam, the little fisherman huts are very basic, a shelter from the weather and not much else. This one, alone and a little more neglected this time stood out in front of the impressive Hawkdun Range. The Hawkdun Range is part of the Oteake Conservation Park and can be summited via Mt Ida, 1690m.
