Little Barrier Boulders at Little Barrier Island/Te Hauturu-o-Toi in New Zealand is considered one of the most important reserves in the world. Located 80km off the coast Te Hauturu-o-Toi is New Zealand's first nature reserve and is a host to over 400 native species including 40 species of birds, two species of bats and 14 species of reptiles.
