New work, Valley Views up Lake Rotoroa, Nelson Lakes. Acrylic on Marine Ply. 200mm

New work by Michelle Bellamy, Powder Curves, is an acrylic on board painting. 200mm, featuring the soft colours and contrasting shadows of snow on one of New Zealand western peaks. 

Michelle has an exciting range of new works due to be completed this summer. Works of note are more fisherman sheds from Falls Dam, a Lake Alexandrina boat shed painting with some beautiful golden orange trees. Michelle is also working on two mai mai paintings featuring the Richmond Ranges and one large work, a reflective panorama of Peppin Island and Delaware Bay in Nelson. The latest in Michelle's 200mm plywood series, a highly detailed painting of a red boulder bank bach.

New 200 x 200 circle paintings available at the Gallery De Novo from the 2nd of Dec.

Michelle's latest work has just been released, Farmstead, Hawkdun Range, Otago. It is painted with Acrylic on Board and measures 900x600mm. Michelle will soon be releasing a run of 150 limited edition prints from this painting.

Here is the latest painting to be finished. Acrylic on board, the focus was the fine detailing of the stones in the foreground. They range in size down to less that a mm.

There are some new works underway for the Gallery De Novo's 'Round Christmas' exhibition later this year. Here is a sneak peak to what will be available.
