Michelle has been working on a new painting of the cruising club boathouse in Herne Bay. Nestled into the shoreline below Marine Parade Reserve in Herne Bay sits an important part of Auckland’s yachting heritage.
Michelle is currently working on a small group of Auckland paintings. She is feeling very refreshed after moving into a green colour palette and is using these greens to express the deep reflective tones around the Orakei boat sheds.
Michelle is having a joint exhibition at the Quiet Dog Gallery in Nelson with David Stones. She will have six paintings of the Nelson Bays and Nelson Lakes region on show.
Michelle is currently working on an exciting new range of works for her joint exhibition with the Quiet Dog Gallery in Nelson at the end of January 2019.
