Featuring six of the iconic boat sheds and two moorings, the painting is a serene depiction of the boat sheds on a calm day.

Been slaving away at the easel for the past few weeks. Doing a lot of fine detail work on a couple of paintings. Looking forward to finishing them.

Getting to the trail a little later in the day than expected turned out rather well, the sun had lost it’s heat and started to drop behind the hills. I was hoping to ride my bike in to Riordans Hut in the Kahurangi National Park, and figured if I didn’t mess around I’d get there just before dark.
